Annual DATMBA- Soquel Demonstration State Forest

Annual Day After Thanksgiving Mountain Bike Adventure- This year at Soquel Demonstration State Forest hosted by Rich Sims and Chris Nordby. We’ll plan to start pedaling at 10:00 am Take Hwy 17 South towards Santa Cruz. Exit at Summit and go left (South).
Continue on Summit until it turns into Highland Way.
Follow Highland Way until you get to the Right turn to Soquel Demonstration State Forest trailhead.
Ride will probably 3-4 hours- trail maps of the Soquel Demonstartion State Forest and the adjacent Forest of Nisene Marks State Park are included in this posting..
Bring food and water – no water available at trailhead.
There’s no organized picnic tables at the trailhead so we probably won’t be able to bbq afterwards although I’ll bring an ice chest full of beer and non-alcoholic drinks for afterwards.
