MapQuest map for Orinda BART station (11 Camino Pablo).

Route 1: Moraga/Canyon Rd/Pinehurst/Skyline Blvd/Grizzly Peak/Wildcat Canyon- 29 miles with 2,200 feet climbing.  New this trip: Add 8 mile out-and-back on scenic Nimitz Way- entrance at Inspiration Point on Wildcat Canyon.  Plus, add route 2 for 47 total miles with 3,900 feet climbing total.

Route 2: Only 3 Bears loop- 24 miles with 1,700 feet climbing.

Detailed directions for West Bay folks-

1. Somehow, get on  onto HWY 24 East (to Walnut Creek, etc.)

2. After going though tunnel, take Orinda exit.

3. At Light, turn LEFT onto Camino Pablo.

4. Get into far right lane and turn RIGHT into BART.  Do big left hand loop and go over to west of Camino Pablo BART parking.  At the “T”, go either left or right to park on the other side of walkway.  Free parking on weekends.
