CCC Fundraising Auction – Help Us Reach $150,000

Silent Auction Supporting The California Coast Classic Bicycle Tour!

Saturday, November 19, 2011
4 pm – 7 pm
Sports Basement, Grotto (lower level)

San Francisco, CA 94103

There will be delicious food/drinks, wonderful CCC movies and fantastic auction items with starting bids ranging from $5 to several hundred dollars. All money raised during the event will benefit the 2011 California Coast Classic and the Arthritis Foundation.

Help us spread the word about the CCC fundraising auction and/or donate auction items!

Help Us Collect Auction Items!

  • Gift certificates to clothing, music, bike or any type of store you can think of.
  • Restaurant Gift Certificates. This is a perfect way for both chains and local favorites to increase their customer base.
  • Items donated from your favorite stores.
  • Art, crafts or items from your local crafty vendors

Items you can donate yourself!

  • Lessons – Cycling, swimming, rowing or and sport/activity you’d like to teach to a novice.
  • A guided bike tour along your favorite scenic or city route.
  • Jewelry that is in great shape but you no longer wear.
  • Art, maybe you made it yourself, maybe you bought it and it doesn’t fit your décor. Either way, let’s find a nice new home for it!
  • Anything in mint condition that you own but don’t want

Zoo Loop (Castro Valley)

East Bay Zoo Loop: Castro Valley/Redwood Road/Return at Skyline and thru the Oakland/Knowland Zoo.  Intermediate, hilly. AKA: Almost the 2nd half of the Grizzly Peak Century) 26.6 miles with 2,320 feet climbing.

Winter rule applies: Check this website by 7:30am to see if the ride is cancelled due to rain.

Directions to Ride Start:
Valley Car Wash in Castro Valley @ Redwood Road & Village Dr.
MapQuest / GPS: go to Peet’s Coffee at 20453 Redwood Road, Castro Valley.
BART friendly (Castro Valley Station)   Car wash is in back of Peet’s.

CCC Reunion ride and luncheon (Los Altos)

A CCC reunion ride before the reunion luncheon. The ride starts and ends at parking lot at Brian’s Restaurant, Los Altos. Go to link to Brian’s Restaurant for directions.  The ride returns by 12:00pm in order to attend the luncheon.  Luncheon is 12:00pm – 3:00pm.

Rolling at 9:00am: lead by Maria & Dwight Powery.  Route #1 = 12 miles, Route #2 = 28 miles.
