Castro Valley: Lake Chabot Mt bike loop

A daytime review of the NiteDawgs mountain bike ride around Lake Chabot Regional Park, Castro Valley. The ride begins in the parking lot across from the Regional Parks Headquarters. The usual route is counter-clockwise: 13.2 miles with 1,800 feet of climbing. This ride introduces two friends from Nebraska, Neal and his sister Lynnze, to one of our local mountain biking adventures. Please RSVP so we know if to wait or roll.

Mapquest directions to the road leading up to the Park Headquarters and parking area (start/finish). Follow the road up the hill to the parking lot on left.
