China Camp (San Rafael) Mtn Bike Adventure

China Camp State Park (San Rafael) was selected for the 2011 Day After Thanksgiving Annual Mountain Bike Adventure. We had such a fun time on 1/1/2010 that we elected to repeat this adventure.
At popular request, a 25-30 mile road ride has been added to this event. Same start location and time (9:00am). Map to be added by 11/4/11). Stay for the pot luck BBQ.
On New Years Day, we took some false routes and we did some pretty steep stuff but we have seen the errors-of-our-ways and now know the complete fun route. This bike/hike will be followed by pot luck BBQ (details to be shared as riders/hikers respond) One loop = 12+ miles with 1,400 feet of easy climbing. Directions to park: Four miles east of San Rafael on the shore of San Pablo Bay. From Highway 101, go east on North San Pedro Road for five miles until it enters the park. Continue on road and park at Bullhead Flats picnic area ($5.00 parking fee) MapQuest link. Link to park website.
