Thanks for warning provided by Bill Buckley.\nLoosely translated: The Capitola/Santa Cruz/Mt.Charlie  portion of the ride is postponed. \nHere is an abreviated route for our climbing pleasure before it gets too HOT.\n…Starts at 8:30am.  Here is the link to the ridewithgps map and cue sheets.\nStarting at the beyond the Dam parking area.\nRoute A: 28.1 miles with 2\,836 feet of climbing. Lunch at mile 17 at the Summit Store.\nRoute B: After lunch\, riders can choose to continue on Summit Rd and meet Mt Charlie on the backside and then return after the summit of Mt. Charlie.\nDirections to starting point:\nMeet at Alma Bridge Road parking area (aka: Lexington Reservoir County Park Boat Launch)-\nDirections to the ‘beyond the Dam’ parking:\nContinue West on Highway 17 past Highway 9 exits.Take Bear Creek exit\, cross over Highway 17 and then return East on Highway 17.\nTake next exit (Alma Bridge Road)\, follow signs to Dam… drive beyond dam and park at paved parking area on right side of Alma Bridge Road (outhouses available).\nThere is free off-road (dirt) parking on both sides of the road and there is a $6.00 fee to park in the paved Lexington Reservoir boat launch area. \n   \n\n									   \n									   \n									   \n									   \n									   \n									   \n
