DESCRIPTION:1/1/16\, 6:50am report: The ride is still scheduled… no rain but it may be a bit chilly. \nWinter Rule: Check this website by 7:00am on the day of the event to see if the ride is cancelled due to rain or predicted fowl weather (quack\, quack!). \nJoin the NiteDawgs in their quasi-annual visit to China Camp to play on the super cool trails.  After the mountain bike adventure\, join us for a pot-luck lunch- hamburgers/hot dogs and beverages will be provided. \nShort loop: 10.8 miles with 1\,000 feet of climbing.\nLong loop: longer distance (15 miles) with more climbing. \nPark at the Bullhead Flat picnic area in the China Camp State Park. Bathrooms and picnic tables on site.  The parking fee is $5.  The trail start/end is just across the road. \nDriving directions to China Camp State Park and Bullhead Flat Picnic Area:\nFour miles east of San Rafael on the shore of San Pablo Bay.
