Los Gatos: Capitola/Santa Cruz/Mt Charlie
July 26, 2025 @ 8:15 am - 2:30 pm
Mt Charlie Road is totally gone from slides during the Spring storms.
RIDE A: 50 miles with 4,260 feet of climbing. One of the big three difficult and demanding rides. in the Cycling4Fun inventory. Starts with some serious climbing then takes it easy on you for a while. But the last quarter of the ride has several long double digit (grade) climbs.
The reward = a wonderful lunch at Gayle’s Bakery/Deli in Capitola! Bring water and a little food for the top of the second climb.
RIDE B: Turn back whenever, returning from the bakery works but be aware it’s not shorter, just a little gentler.
