Niles Canyon: Alameda Creek Trail

Alameda Creek Trail (out and back): 22 miles total, Very light car traffic.  This ride is a light duty ride suitable for beginner’s or experienced riders looking for scenic and relaxing ride.

Basically, a sea level (flat) ride. Since this is a ride suitable for first-timers. find a friend who wants to start riding and invite them.  There will be several somewhat easy rides scheduled in the first few weeks of this season to encourage new riders along with “normal” rides for others. if any experienced Cycling4Fun riders want to join this simple ride and help herd cats you would be welcome.

This ride starts Niles/Alameda Creek staging area near the Niles Canyon Rd/ Mission Blvd intersection at Old Canyon Rod & Canyon Oaks

Any changes in this ride, including cancellation, due to weather or other evil doing will be posted on this website by 7:00am the day of the ride.

Arrive by 8:15am and be prepared to depart at 8:30am. Cue sheets/Directions will be on the vehicle windshield for late arrivals. Look for a vehicle in the parking area with an orange traffic cone on top. Ride leader is Bob Carlson. Helmets required.
