22 miles total, Very light car traffic.\u00a0 This ride is a light duty ride suitable for beginner’s or experienced riders looking for scenic and relaxing ride.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Alameda Creek Trail is basically a sea level (flat) ride. Since this is a ride suitable for first-timers. find a friend who wants to start riding and invite them.\u00a0 There will be several somewhat easy rides scheduled in the first few weeks of this season to encourage new riders along with “normal” rides for others.\u00a0<\/span>if any experienced Cycling4Fun riders want to join this simple ride and help herd cats you would be welcome.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Berkeley to Pt Richmond and back! (A 26 mile loop).\u00a0 Climbing is about 400 ft – Basically, a sea-level adventure.\u00a0 When we go to Pt. Richmond, let’s have a stop at the corner coffee stop.<\/p>\n

NOTE: Ride is flat and relatively short suiting beginning riders. Invite a newbie.<\/p>\n

Starting in Shadow Cliffs Recreation Area, this is a ride of 35 miles with 1032 ft of climbing. Semi mild ride so if you have a friend who wants to try biking here is the ride for them. We will follow the Wheels for Meals route which which used when the event was held.<\/p>\n

NOTICE:\u00a0 Shadow Cliffs Regional Park has $6.00 parking fee.\u00a0 Also, If we are not in the front parking area drive around to the rear area. We will setup wherever the open bathrooms are located.<\/p>\n

A ride around Mt Diablo.\u00a0 52 miles with 3,110 feet of climbing, Light to moderate.traffic.<\/p>\n

Any changes in these rides, including cancellation due to weather or other evil doing will be posted on this website and the meetup by 7:00am the day of the ride.<\/p>\n

Please arrive at the start by 8:45<\/strong>am to prepare for an 9:00am departure.<\/span> Cue sheets\/Directions will be on the windshield for late arrivals. Look for a vehicle in the parking area with an orange traffic cone on top. Ride leader is Bob Carlson. Helmets required<\/p>\n
